A21 works at Borzell north of Hurst Green
National Highways have notified us that they will be carrying out stabilisation works to the embankment on the A21 at Boarzell, near Hurst Green. The works will be carried out in two phases and includes vegetation clearance, planting of willow poles which will grow into trees and the installation of safety barriers. To undertake these works safely, there will be two-way temporary traffic lights from the B2099 junction at Swiftsden heading north up the A21 for approximately 300 metres, 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday only from 15th September to 9 November. They will be returning in January 2027 for phase two to plant the Willow poles.
