The Parish Council has paid for installation of speed activated signs at four locations in the village, to encourage cars to keep to or below 30mph:
- George Hill (northbound)
- Brightling Road (eastbound)
- Northbridge Street /The Clappers (southbound)
- The Clappers/Northbridge Street (northbound)
The signs are moved between these locations at different times throughout the year. They are moved to meet the requirements set out in licences issued by East Sussex County Council.
