Please note that on Tuesday 29th September 2026 Gray Nicolls will be harvesting (felling) the Cricket Bat Willow trees from Pipers Field.  This means that access to the whole area will be prohibited on safety grounds, from 7.30am – the work is expected to take all day.

Access to the public footpath and allotment field will be available via the Village Hall, over the bund from their car park.  We thank the Community Association for their help in providing an alternative safe access to both during the works.

With thanks for your understanding and cooperation, and apologies for any inconvenience.  Please note that replacement trees will be planted in due course.

If you have any questions or concerns, please address them to the Parish Council (not Gray Nicolls).
