Two planning applications have been submitted for The George Inn, Robertsbridge, covering changes to the outdoor areas and the setting of the listed building. Because The George sits in the Robertsbridge Conservation Area, both a full planning application and Listed Building Consent are required and they will be considered separately by Rother Planning.  The plans include: • Changes to the car park and landscaping • New pub garden areas • Removal of a modern wall • A new accessible entrance • Alterations to the outbuilding.

Original Deadline to comment 29th September HAS NOW BEEN EXTENDED TO 12th OCTOBER Your views matter — please look at the plans and comment on BOTH applications.  You may submit the same or different comments on each.  The Parish Council Planning Committee will discuss these applications at their next meeting on Monday 5^th October 7.30pm at Robertsbridge Youth Centre.  It would be very useful for residents to attend this meeting so that we can hear and consider your thoughts ahead of discussing how the Parish Council should comment..
